marijuana, stress and depression

So, during these past 4 months or so I have been feeling highly stressed and depressed. The reason for is probably because I'm overwhealmed about college. My degree, Engineering, isn't quite something you can just "pass" through.

So, I searched online for solutions for my depression/stress. Among all the other solutions I found, Marijuana was one of them.

As a very judgamental marijuana smoker, I believe that marijuana intake TEMPORARILY helps you. I'm not going to pretend that marijuana is this great medicine when it comes to this, because it's not. Depression is something that lingers, while mairjuana is simply a substance that will make you calm down for however long you're high for. Pot isn't that much of a big deal, gosh.  I still think freely about things when I'm high, so what's the point?

I really think that weed is a substance that just reflects how you are. Plus, I can see how some experts say that depressed people may rely on marijuana too much. Wouldn't you if you had a "quick" sutil fix for your problem? But, unfortunately, marijuana is not the solution. The solution is getting out there and doing it. No matter whether you're high or not.

In summary, I believe people with depression and anxiety should smoke marijuana occasionaly but should not rely on it. Pot makes you relax if you WANT to relax, and in my case, my friend, i can tell you that I can't relax. I'm tense always, and smoking sometimes makes no difference, sometimes it does. It might be due to how I view smoking nowadays and the state of mind I'm in when I start to inhale, though.
